MESSAGE FROM HER
Hey, it’s Liz! This page basically gives you a picture of how an ordinary girl lives and survives her freakingly uncustomary life. I am a Medical Doctor who loves a whole lot of things besides the operating room- music, broadways, dancing, coffee and wines (and beers too)! Browse through, and let me know how much we get along. You’re very much welcome in this not-so-secret hideaway of mine. Don’t hesitate to type in your messages and hit submit!
“She is the eldest of four daughters. Among the girls, she is the only one who decided to get a degree in Medicine. The others decided to take up Law.
Liz is an outgoing woman. She craves for adventures. She travels a lot and feasts on the local gastronomic treats, and she is never afraid to try new things outside her comfort zone. Her other interests include music (she has been playing the piano and guitar since she was 10, and has been active member both in the Ateneo Nursing Dance Troupe and the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery’s Terpsichorean Dance Troupe), horseback riding, organizing and hosting events and wines. She also is a self-confessed francophile.
Liz hates being idle. She killed time by joining different organizations, both in Ateneo de Davao, and the University of Santo Tomas- Faculty of Medicine and Surgery (UST-FMS). She was elected as President of the Philippine Nursing Students’ Association (BS-Nursing) and Most Exalted Sister of the Pioneer and Premiere Sorority of the UST-FMS— The Sigma Tau Delta Sorority. She is also a member of various nationwide organizations- the Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health, and the Asian Medical Students’ Assocation, to name a few.
Despite her busy schedule, she managed to graduate Cum Laude, in two prestigious schools in the country- Ateneo De Davao University (pre-med) and the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
Quite an achievement, don’t you think? But you know what sets her apart? Her fun, quirky personality just lures people to her. Her big heart proves that she’s perfect for her job.
Currently, she is now taking the time off, by serving her family’s constituents in Davao Oriental, as a physician, while doing some freelance styling and blogging on the side. Follow her to get to know how she juggles her life as a Doctor and as a Blogger. We’ve got some Jill of all Trades, right here.”
