Sixth

Taking up medicine is all about… graduating. Lol

If I may remember it correctly, we have recently just graduated from medical school. We went up the stage, shook hands with the dean, and received our diplomas. Yes, we got the degree, but, we’re bound to spare another year for out post-graduate training before we can actually get THE LICENSE.

On May 1st of 2015, we started our internship. For one year, we rotated in the different subspecialties in medicine. Special mention to my faves: Surgery and OB-GYN! And now, everything is just about to end. I just had my last duty as an intern. The 12 months came by so fast!

This year, we graduated for the sixth time. Held in Makati Medical Center, the event was attended by the board of directors and major stockholders of the hospital, along with the parents of the 70 post-graduate interns, and residents and mentors.

Thank you for everything, mom and dad!

Congratulations to us, girls!

You know what they say about this chapter of your medical journey- that this will be the most exciting. It was true, at least for me.

I will forever be grateful to Makati Medical Center. The values you’ve taught us, will remain with us.
