4 (Tita) Things to Do on a free Saturday in NY

There are a lot to do in New York. But sometimes, all you want is a chill day at the park, paired with the best munchers. Luckily for me, I had one Saturday in NY, and my titas were up for a stroll!

For the starter:

You may wake up at a bearable time. Not six. Not seven. Not eight. Nine o’clock is just right. Along with the titas, take all the time you need to get yourself ready. Munch on a light brekky, ’cause hey, we’ll all be having lunch in a matter of three hours. Diet diet muna. Mahirap na. Baka magbloat. No no yan, girl! Sira ang #figure!

All set? Now that we’re all ready, let’s go through the top 4 things on my titas’ to-do list:

1. Go to tourist spots.

Of course! Why in the world would you miss this? Show them your love for trying out new things and exploring new places. Cultural appreciation at its best! The more, the better! But sabi nga ni Tita, “kahit 3 lang per day, that’s fine na, hija”.  #hearts

2. Eat good food.

I super agree! Diet ka na nga nung breakfast, eh. Don’t starve yourself naman. You deserve a good meal for lunch! Burger and fries is a good idea, huh.

3. Stroll around. (And Shop in between)

Let those endorphins out. Strolling is a good way to exercise- so as shopping. Yes? Appreciate the sleek design of the skyscrapers and learn from this architectural marvel. Then, after an hour or two of walking, maybe, we can grab something sweet. Ice cream? Cake? Pudding? Chocolates? CHOCOLATES.

4. Eat more good food.

What do you expect? Of course we’re eating dinner! You’ve basically used your energy walking around the city. Let’s get something filling, but healthy. We have to stick to our diet! Lol.

Why not grab some pastrami sandwich with cucumber on the side? Katz’s delicatessen sure knows how to fill in those tummies! One order makes a complete and balanced meal.

Oh yes dear. I had what Sally had. *wink* P.S Sorry for the low quality photo. haha

Well, this was a really fun (and super filling) day. Tita Mimi and Tita Bebeth combined, is a power duo. They really know how to get you around. Good food. Good city. Good company. You might want to spend a day in NY with them. Just let me know. Hehe

P.S Curious about how I spent my first two days in New York? Read here (DAY 1) and here (DAY 2).
